Throughout Q3 2021, the top social networking apps on iOS in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the trends for the top 5 apps in this category.

BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $140K in mid-July and ending the quarter with approximately $73K. Weekly downloads ranged from 1.4K to 1K, with a noticeable dip in mid-August. Active users showed a slight decline from 18.3K at the start of the quarter to 18K by the end.

Tango - Live Stream, Go Live saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of nearly $48K by the end of August. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 500 to 538 weekly. Active users increased significantly from 9.2K at the beginning of the quarter to 13K by the end.

Lucky LOOPS had a variable revenue trend, with peaks and troughs throughout the quarter, hitting a high of $35K in late July. Downloads saw a gradual decrease, ending at 144 weekly downloads by the end of September. Active users showed a slight decline, from 2.4K to 2K.

Facebook maintained consistent performance with weekly revenue fluctuating between $7K and $26K. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 12K weekly. Active users held strong at approximately 1.7M throughout the quarter.

Azar: Video Chat & Meet People experienced a decline in revenue, starting at $20K in late June and dropping to $9K by the end of September. Weekly downloads and active users remained stable, with downloads averaging around 600 and active users around 3.3K.
